Announcement of Mexican Genealogy Facebook Page by a non member

What Mexican State or States where your ancestors from? Now you can join Genealogy focused Facebook groups for all of the 32 Mexican states. If you are a member of our Mexican Genealogy Facebook Group the group wants to thank you and we do hope that you continue to be a part of it. If you are not, you are missing out! Check the links at the bottom of this page to join, you will not regret it.

With that said here is the deal, about a year ago We realized that our Mexican Genealogy Facebook Group had limitations and that most of the postings were for South Texas and Northeastern Mexico. I created a Facebook group for each state but hesitated to announce it to everyone and had been putting it off. I named my little project “The Mexico State Facebook Project”.

The group created a centralized page here on this website to make it easier to find the groups, explain what the project is about, and also to ask you and everyone else for help. This project is not a one person show, it is and must be a community project. Thus each group requires at least three moderators and for some I think up to five as they grow.
