Wrap up on San Diego Research Day
The San
Diego Hispanic Saturday group met on 24 February 2018 at 1pm at the San Diego Central
Library. There were seventeen in attendance. The theme for the day was “Where did your Ancestors
come from?”. Ceasar Castro brought a large map of Mexico and of the United States. Each person
marked the spot on the map where their mothers’ and fathers’ families migrated
from. In the process each person talked about their families. There was lively
discussion particularly, after everyone had presented their
family migration paths. This session was one of the best received activities. The participants were well prepared with their genealogy.
