Spanish Patriots During the American Revolution

Letty Rodella, President of the Hispanic Historical and Ancestral Research (SHHAR) will be speaking on Spain's military actions during the Revolutionary War.

Letty Rodella is a retired educator. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at El Paso and her Masters of Science Degree in Education from California State University at Fullerton. She was district administrator from El Rancho Unified School District in Pico Rivera, CA and is an independent educational consultant.

Her presentation will give a brief background history of the involvement and the contributions by the Spanish Government and the Spanish Patriots to the Continental Congress and to George Washington's Army during the American Revolution. She will also talk about the Spanish military battles fought both on land and sea against the British during the period from 1779-1783.
