Tracking Your Ancestors with a Timeline
One of the
easiest genealogical research techniques is creating a timeline. Timelines allow
the researcher to organize the facts about an ancestor in chronological order and
observe patterns. These patterns help determine where to locate new information
that can lead to breakthroughs in your research. In this workshop you will learn
how to create a time line for one of your family members. Choose one person you
are researching and bring the information you have on them to the workshop. Discover
how records other than baptismal, marriage and death can assist your search, adding
nuance and depth to your family’s history.
